The work includes the construction of a new trail facility along US-191 from MP 136.84 to 138.96 and a separated trail. Major work items include roadway excavation (20,161 cu yd), HMA bike/ped path (2,643 tons), structural concrete (est. 270 cu yd), drainage pipes of various sizes and materials, modular block MSE retaining walls, erosion control measures (silt fence, fiber roll barriers), signing, pavement markings, and landscaping (HECP, seeding, topsoil). The project also includes paleontological monitoring, mobilization, public information services, traffic control, and maintenance of traffic. The project is a Working P&T (Price + Time) project with two time segments.
