Theawarded engineer will work closely with the county’s Grant Administrator forthis project. Therefore, it is essential to maintain compliance for federalfunding and ensure federal compliance as it pertains to 2 CFR 200.327.
Services include but are not limited to: road and bridge construction projects, subdivision projects, various drainage projects, sample collection, flood plain management analysis, consulting, regulatory review, designs, inspections and certifications within Walker County. Specific tasks include preparation of plans for three miles of 24' wide roadway with an asphalt driving surface from FM 1375 to Veterans Memorial Bridge, drainage analysis and culvert sizing for 9 culverts, geotechnical investigations with approximately 32 bores along Stubblefield Lake Road, structural design of concrete low water crossing/spillway, and construction oversight including periodic inspections and daily reports. The contract is indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ).
