Description
The Texas A&M University System (A&M System) is seeking bids for the purchase of an industrial CNC
router specified in this Invitation to Bid for the Space Collaboration Facility project located in Houston,
Texas.
The manufacturer name and model (if any) listed for each item are meant to be descriptive and not
restrictive. Specifications that include but not limited to language such as "must", "will", "shall",
"minimum", "maximum", etc. may not be deviated from and are required elements. The A&M System will
determine if the products offered are acceptable and will meet the needs of the A&M System. That
determination made by the A&M System shall be final.
Bid shall be submitted electronically via AggieBid by the bid due date and time of Friday, October 23, 2026
by 2:00 PM - Central Time.
**Late bids will not be accepted or considered.

Terms and Conditions: This Invitation to Bid shall be per the attached A&M System - Exhibit A - Bid
Requirements, Terms and Conditions. Respondent shall acknowledge receipt and understanding of the
A&M System bid terms. Any exceptions taken to the attached terms must be clearly identified and included
in your bid response. Any exceptions identified will be taken into consideration in the review for award of
this bid. The A&M System reserves the right to reject, negotiate, or accept any exception listed to these bid
terms.
2. Quote: Attach your company quote which lists and details each individual item for verification that all
specifications are met. Include delivery lead-time for each item. ** Bid pricing shall remain firm until all
items are delivered and accepted.
3.
Additional Charges: Any additional charges not specified in this invitation for bid shall become the
responsibility of the bidder/awarded vendor. No other fees or costs can be added once bid responses are
received and bid is closed. Bidder acknowledges that pricing submitted in this bid includes ALL / ANY
costs for product, delivery, and any other fees not specifically requested.
4. Alternate Product: If bidding an alternate product(s) to the make/manufacturer specified within each line
item (if any), you must submit full descriptive literature/cut sheets with your bid response.
5. Delivery and Installation: Preferred delivery date is November 1, 2026, and the equipment should be
installed, tested and fully operational by November 19, 2026. Note that these dates may change
dependent on the building construction schedule.
6. Shipping Terms: The A&M System requests shipping terms to be quoted F.O.B. Destination. If quoting
different terms those shall be provided on your company quote for our consideration.
7. Payment Terms: The A&M System's terms are generally Net 30 upon delivery of all items and receipt of a
correct invoice. For any other payment terms to be considered, details must be submitted with your bid
response for consideration and approval.
8.
Award Criteria: The A&M System will evaluate and make the award to the bid that is determined to be the
best value to the A&M System based on the following criteria: specifications and the extent to which the
goods or services offered meet our needs and requirements, pricing, shipping terms, ability to meet
requested delivery and installation time-frame (as applicable), the vendor's past relationship with the A&M
System and other state entities, and any other factor the A&M System deems relevant.
9. Submittal Requirements: I understand that failure to submit any of the requirements, certifications,
submittals, requested documents for this bid may disqualify my bid for consideration of award.
