RFP - District Fiber Renovations
The work includes providing and installing a single, armored, indoor and outdoor rated, plenum rated twenty-four (24) strand OS2 single-mode fiber optic cable. The cable shall extend from an existing fiber location on a utility pole on Kraft Avenue, through Caledonia High School (both South and North Campus), through existing duct to Kraft Meadows Intermediate School MDF. The contractor shall splice the supplied cable to existing fiber at Kraft Avenue supplying fiber optic services to Dutton Elementary and Kettle Lake Elementary Schools. New OS2 fiber optic cables shall be terminated on a contractor-supplied enclosure shelf (Optical Fiber Interconnecting Unit - LIU) with LC connectors. The contractor shall design, engineer, supply, connect, test, document, train Owner representatives and warrant a fully operational and compliant Optical Fiber Backbone.
