The South Carolina Department of Social Services is seeking qualified providers to perform on-site washing and cleaning of its fleet of vehicles at multiple locations across the state.
The contractor shall provide all equipment, supplies, and labor to wash and clean SCDSS vehicles at 46 county offices and 28 outlier locations. Basic services include exterior wash, interior wipe-down, vacuuming, window cleaning, tire shine, and drying. Elective services include lice and bed bug removal, shampooing of interior surfaces, and cleaning of body fluids. The contractor must obtain prior approval from SCDSS's Motor Vehicle Management Coordinator, use environmentally safe products, and perform work between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday when temperatures are above 40°F. Invoicing is monthly, and the contractor must provide a certificate of insurance within ten days of award.
