The project involves constructing two drop inlet diversion structures across the 25-foot-wide concrete San Antonio Creek Channel in Montclair, CA (I-10 to Moreno St.). Diversion Structures: Excavate 8–10 feet below the channel floor (approx. 8 ft × 25 ft per structure) across the full width, fit them with steel debris grates, and install wall-mounted steel gates on the east sides. Piping & Outlets: Install 4-foot-diameter discharge pipelines from each structure to Montclair Basins 2 and 3, routing across the access road and basin slopes (covered with 3 feet of soil). Build concrete outlet structures in the basins for flow dissipation. Controls & Integration: Provide complete electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA integration to actuate the gates, with programming restricted to approved integrators (Technical Systems, Inc. or E Technologies Group).
