The description and location of the project is as follows: For the replacement of a bridge in CENTRE COUNTY, SHOW SHOE TOWNSHIP, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, SR 4005-A02. Construction is on SR 4005 from Segment 0012 Offset 0000 to Segment 0012 Offset 1411 for a total construction length of approximately 1411 feet (0.265 miles). For the replacement of the existing 6-span structure carrying SR 4005 over I-80 with a 5-span structure along a new alignment. The work involves the realignments of on/off ramps at their intersection with SR 4005 due to the location of the new structure and to improve safety. Additional work includes approach paving, drainage modifications, guide rail upgrades, and miscellaneous construction as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package.
Additional Information: This is an ECMS project. All Addenda will be electronically posted. The location of the public bid opening is the Commonwealth Keystone Building, 7th Floor, Contract Awards Room, 400 North Street, Harrisburg. Allow sufficient time before the bid opening to obtain a visitor pass on the 5th Floor and to be escorted to the 7th Floor Contract Awards Room.
