This project involves the application of FHWA Proven Safety Countermeasures at 31 locations within VARIOUS MUNICIPALITIES in LANCASTER COUNTY. MPMS #123107 includes work at 25 intersections such as new Flashing Warning Device (FWD) installs, signing and pavement marking changes, and other miscellaneous construction activities. Additionally, MPMS #123108 includes low-cost safety improvements to existing pavements and/or signage along 6 roadway segments as a systemic approach to reduce lane departure crashes. Work on #123108 includes base repair, installation of high-friction surface treatment, center & edge line rumbles strips, signing & pavement marking updates/changes, and other miscellaneous construction activities, all as indicated on the approved drawings included in the Bid Package for STATE ROUTE 0072, SECTION 074.
Additional Information: This is an ECMS project. All Addenda will be electronically posted. The location of the public bid opening is the Commonwealth Keystone Building, 7th Floor, Contract Awards Room, 400 North Street, Harrisburg. Allow sufficient time before the bid opening to obtain a visitor pass on the 5th Floor and to be escorted to the 7th Floor Contract Awards Room.
