This project is for the replacement of an existing structure on STATE ROUTE 6011, SEC 252 in CITY of SCRANTION, LACKAWANNA COUNTY, in the COMMONWEALTH of PENNSYLVANIA. The purpose of this project is to provide safe access across Leach Creek on SR 6011 with a structure that meets current design standards and to reduce water surface elevations during the 25-year and 100-year storm events. This project includes a Culvert Replacement on State Route 6011 (Market Street) between Yard Avenue and Bloom Avenue in the City of Scranton, Lackawanna County. The project proposes to replace the stone masonry arch with a precast reinforced concrete box culvert on the same horizontal alignment with minimal approach roadway work. The proposed precast reinforced concrete box provides greater hydraulic capacity than the existing structure. The proposed plan for the replacement includes the removal of the existing structure. The new box culvert is proposed to be constructed to the minimum widths required for the SR 6011 roadway design criteria. Traffic will be maintained using a 0.6-mile detour route.

Most Pennsylvania work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
