The SR 1030 Section P62 project includes the replacement of the existing structure carrying SR 1030 over Harveys Creek in Lake Township, Luzerne County. The existing structure consists of a combination stone masonry deck arch at the downstream end and a reinforced concrete slab at the upstream end. The structure will be replaced with a single-cell precast concrete box culvert with pre-cast end sections. Approximately 350 linear feet of roadway between stations 102+50 and 106+00 will be realigned/reconstructed to improve sight distance and reduce curvature of the road approaching the SR 1030/SR 1053 intersection. The proposed structure will be approximately 39’-7” wider than existing (76’ total) to accommodate the road realignment/reconstruction. A total of 0.195 acre of right-of-way strip takes and 0.171 acre of temporary construction easements will be required for the proposed project. Proposed work will be conducted under a 5.5-mile detour for the duration of construction (anticipated to be three months).
Additional Information: This is an ECMS project. All Addenda will be electronically posted. Most Pennsylvania work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
