The description and location of the project are as follows: superstructure replacement of an existing structure carrying Eighth Street over Shamokin Creek in the City of Shamokin, sidewalk replacement, milling and resurfacing with base and wearing courses, utility relocation, replace existing beam seats, and other related work within an overall length of 218.00 linear feet (0.041 mile) as indicated on approved drawings for North Eighth Street (County Bridge 73), approximately 190 feet east of the intersection with East Church Street to approximately 223 feet west of the intersection with West Independence Street, in the CITY OF SHAMOKIN, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY.
Additional Information: This is an ECMS project. All Addenda will be electronically posted. The location of the public bid opening is the Commonwealth Keystone Building, 7th Floor, Contract Awards Room, 400 North Street, Harrisburg. Allow sufficient time before the bid opening to contact Contract Awards and be escorted to the 7th Floor Contract Awards Room. Contract Awards can be reached at 717-395-9754. Due to recent changes in the Keystone Building, there is no longer a reception on the 5th Floor to greet and check-in visitors.
