The project scope includes the design and construction of a new Main Electrical Building located south of the existing Operations Building and west of Oxidation Basin No.1, consolidating electrical equipment from several existing rooms/buildings; a new DIW Electrical Building located between the existing DIW pump station and the DIW Pad, replacing electrical equipment within the existing DIW electrical building and consolidating existing VFDs; a new Outdoor Enclosure west of the New Main Electrical Building with two 1000 KW diesel generators; demolition of the existing Operations Building/electrical building, the existing main generator building, and the existing DIW MCC building; conversion of the existing DIW MCC building to a storage building; a new rain garden at the demolition site of the existing operation building; relocation of process and non-process related piping; relocation of existing overhead powerlines or burying underground powerlines; and process improvements. The new electrical buildings and outdoor enclosure need to be constructed 1ft to 3ft above the Base Flood Elevation (BFE).
