ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS
The Stephens County Board of Education is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Professional Services (CM at Risk) for the Stephens County Schools 2026 Renovations and Modifications – Districtwide Projects, Toccoa, Georgia.
Proposal packages are due Friday, October 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The full Request for Proposal (RFP) is available on the Stephens County Schools website and the Georgia Procurement Registry, or may be requested by emailing john.stith@stephenscountyschools.org.
Proposals shall be delivered to John Stith, Deputy Superintendent, Stephens County School District, 191 Big A School Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577. The Stephens County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
The project includes fire-alarm system replacements and upgrades at multiple schools and the Board of Education office; athletic-facility improvements at Stephens County Middle School and High School including fields, field houses, press boxes, concessions, restrooms, locker and team facilities, storage, lighting, seating, accessibility, parking, fencing, drainage, and utilities; Stephens County Middle School roof and HVAC improvements; districtwide bathroom and front-office renovations; paving improvements at elementary schools, middle school, and Board Office; STEM labs at each of the four elementary schools; and additional projects at any district-owned facility including renovations, additions, modifications, repairs, replacements, site work, infrastructure, equipment, and related improvements. The fire-alarm work at Stephens County High School is the first priority, with work desired to begin as close to December 2026 as practicable. All projects will be substantially completed by December 2029.
