Provision of Senior Affordable Housing Tenant Services(SARA)

Purpose of the Solicitation The New York City Human Resources Administration is seeking appropriately qualified organizations to develop and provide high-quality services for senior households residing in newly developed, affordable senior housing projects which include a set-aside for homeless seniors. The goal of the service program is to enable seniors to live independently and age in place in permanent, affordable housing with an emphasis on supporting formerly homeless seniors. Services will provide a range of engagement opportunities for all seniors living in these new senior housing buildings with light touch case assistance targeted for seniors who have histories of homelessness. Proposed Term of the Contract(s) It is anticipated that the terms of the contract(s) awarded from this RFP will be for approximately five (5) years. The contract may include an option to renew, for four (4) years renewal option unless the proposer requires a different term based on the funding requirements. The start date of each service contract will be based on the completion date of building construction. Procurement Timeline HRA anticipates that the RFP will be released in November 2021.
