The Contractor shall independently provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, permits, and incidentals to sample fish in the District's fish bypass and sampling facility for one 24-hour period, once per week, April through July. Duties include anesthetizing and identifying fish by species, recording descaling, injury, disease and mortality, collecting length and condition data, returning sampled fish to the bypass system, recording river/powerhouse/spill flows and forebay elevation and temperature, conducting data analysis and comparing actual take to permitted take under the Biological Opinion, generating weekly summaries and an annual report, coordinating USACE dam access requests, conducting post-season facility inspections, and representing the District at the Fish Passage Operation and Maintenance Group as needed.
