The Olivenhain Municipal Water District (OMWD) is requesting proposals from firms with
qualified staff and experience in construction management (CM) and inspection services
for the David C. McCollom Water Treatment Plant (DCMWTP) Membrane Basin
Rehabilitation Project. The program includes phased rehabilitation of membrane basins
over a 6-year period, while maintaining active plant operations. Due to the operational
complexity of the work, OMWD is seeking firms with demonstrated experience providing
construction management services for improvements at operating water treatment
facilities, including outage planning, sequencing, shutdown coordination, commissioning,
and Contractor coordination. It is important to OMWD that firms have an established local
office and experience as a CM with the maintenance of operations at existing water
treatment plants.
