The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) on behalf of the Division of Teaching and Learning seeks proposals from organizations experienced in providing professional development and direct student services in social studies to support the implementation of the NYCDOE’s initiatives in social studies, in alignment with the NYCDOE Social Studies Scope and Sequence, Common Core Learning Standards, and New York State K-12 Social Studies Framework.

Proposers may address one or both components listed below.

• Component 1: Professional Development

• Component 2: Direct Student Services
