NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the above
referenced project. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and any
other items necessary for the completion of this contract.
BID OPENING
Sealed bids must be received at the NCDOT Division 2 Project Development Office,
Located at 1037 W.H. Smith Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834, by Wednesday, October 28,
2026 at 2:00 PM. Bids must be submitted on the official bid form included in the
contract proposal and shall display the following statement on the front of the bid
envelope:
QUOTATION FOR – CONTRACT ID PR39536 –DIVISION 2 SIGN
MAINTENANCE TO BE OPENED AT 2:00 PM on, October 28, 2026.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252) and the regulations of the
Department of Transportation (49 CFR, Part 21), issued pursuant to such act, hereby
notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant
to this notice will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on
the grounds of sex, race, color, or national origin.
Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and other items for Division 2 signing work issued by work order, including cutting and disposal of steel sign hangers on overhead signs for sign lighting with zinc-paint repair and disposal of lighting systems, and providing traffic control with shoulder closures and multilane lane closures, prosecuted continuously from start to acceptance.
