Bridge rehabilitation on two structures including removal of existing epoxy overlay, epoxy overlay, deck patching, expansion joint replacement, thrie beam retrofit, concrete rail post and rail balustrade patching, R4 railing post replacement, superstructure repairs, full paint, substructure patching and approach work on US-41 over Sturgeon River and M-28 over Ontonagon River, Baraga and Ontonagon Counties. This project includes a 5 year performance warranty on epoxy overlay and 2 year coating on bridge coating.
In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of Fa and N4. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Those subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder.

Most Michigan work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. Apply straight through for it — or prequalify once and skip the application on both.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
