LA County Department of Mental Health is issuing this Request for Statement of Qualifications solicitation to enter into unfunded Master Agreements with qualified vendors to provide Capacity Building Support Services (Services) through the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA). These services are designed to develop and expand projects that educate, train and provide ancillary supports to LACDMH leadership and workforce, consumers and their family members, peers, Stakeholder Groups and community members across the County.
Provide Capacity Building Support Services in six categories: Consultation, Evaluation, Facilitation, Media, Planning and Training. Work includes stakeholder engagement sessions, data collection and analysis, needs assessment, BHSA Integrated Plan development and implementation support, evaluation of program outcomes and tools, facilitation of focus groups and planning deliberations, multi-media campaigns and events, and training workshops and technical assistance for workforce and community stakeholders. Qualified vendors receive Master Agreements and then compete for Work Orders with specific Statements of Work.

Most California work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
