Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) operates Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Van Nuys Airport (VNY), two major aviation facilities that support passenger travel, business activity, and regional connectivity throughout Southern California. With millions of travelers, employees, contractors, and stakeholders relying on airport services each year, both airports depend on a wide range of infrastructure, systems, and support functions working seamlessly behind the scenes. The Facilities Management Division (FMD) helps keep airport operations running by maintaining facilities and ensuring employees have the resources needed to perform their work.
General hardware, tools, equipment, and supplies support maintenance, administrative, and operational activities across LAX and VNY. By providing these resources when and where they are needed, FMD helps sustain safe, efficient, and uninterrupted airport operations. Most California work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
