The County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services is releasing this Request for Rate (RFR) to obtain responses from qualified firms and establish an Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services Master Agreement (EMARS) for medical imaging equipment.

Canon Medical Imaging Equipment are used throughout DHS facilities to provide high-resolution, three-dimensional images of the body, including the brain, chest, spine and abdomen to diagnose infection, identify masses and tumors including cancer, study blood vessels, and guide a surgeon to right area during biopsy procedures. Healthcare facilities must maintain compliance with the requirements of The Joint Commission (TJC). To comply with these requirements, County is looking to engage Contractor(s) for provision of testing, inspection, preventive maintenance and repair services of Medical Imaging Equipment as specified in this RFR.
