The project consists of the replacement of failing modular air cooled chillers located in an areaway of Building 501. Two chillers shall replace 9 modular units. Existing electrical gear will be utilized with new fuses and new conductors. Duct modifications will extend the condenser air to the grade level of the areaway. New piping and heat trace will be installed from the mechanical room wall to the new chillers.
