The South Central Regional Mental Health Hospital (SCRMH) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide laboratory testing and related services for specimens derived from humans to provide diagnosis, prevention, treatment, monitoring, or assessment of health conditions.
The Contractor shall provide full-service clinical laboratory testing for all Hospital-ordered tests, including routine, STAT, specialty, and referral testing. Services shall include specimen processing and testing; result reporting; critical value notification and escalation; referral laboratory coordination; courier transport; specimen collection and transport supplies; bidirectional HL7 interface or equivalent electronic results exchange; secure electronic results access; quality assurance support; implementation support; and ongoing technical and operational support. The Contractor shall provide a current Directory of Services and Interpretive Guide, and all applicable ordering, collection, processing and transport supplies. The Contractor shall provide at least one daily courier pickup Monday through Friday, and shall provide, implement, test, validate, maintain, and support a bidirectional HL7 interface at Contractor expense. The Contractor shall provide customer, technical, interface, operational, courier, reporting, and critical value support 24/7/365.
