Psychiatric Nursing Program
The contractor will provide psychiatric nursing services at Denver Women's Correctional Facility (DWCF) and Centennial Correctional Facility (CCF) in Canon City. At DWCF, a team of five psychiatric nurses (4 full-time, 1 part-time) will provide seven-day-a-week care to a 65-bed Therapeutic Community and a 48-bed Residential Treatment Program. At CCF, a team of three psychiatric nurses (2 full-time, 1 part-time) will provide dedicated coverage for a 16-bed Substance-Induced Psychosis unit. Core responsibilities include medication administration, compliance monitoring, patient education on comorbidities, group and individual clinical therapy, multidisciplinary collaboration, and urine analysis testing.
