Osawatomie State Hospital (OSH) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide treatment and consultation services for Sexual Predators at MiCo House in Osawatomie, Kansas.
The contractor shall provide sex offender individual therapy at an average of five hours per resident per month, sex offender group therapy at an average of five hours per resident per month, and additional therapy up to two hours per resident per month as needed. Services include situational counseling, assistance with Conditional Release Treatment Plans, weekly consultation with the MiCo House Director, collaboration with clinical staff at Larned State Hospital, participation in quarterly Progress Review Panel conferences (up to 40 hours annually, with at least two visits to Meyer House, one to MiCo House, and one to Maple House per year), participation in special Progress Review meetings as needed, court testimony regarding clinical assessment and treatment progress, psychological testing administration and scoring, completion of documentation and quarterly risk assessments, and submission of quarterly reports tracking therapy hours and resident outcomes. The contractor must ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Kansas Department of Health and Environment standards, maintain credentialing and privileging procedures, participate in hospital orientation, and report immediately all reportable incidents to the Risk Manager or Program Director.
