PRTF High Acuity Beds
The selected vendor(s) will provide intensive stabilization, clinical interventions, skills training, and robust transition planning for youth with high-acuity needs, including those with co-occurring mental health diagnoses, extensive trauma histories, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, high-risk aggression, chronic elopement, and high-risk sexualized behaviors. The Department will guarantee reimbursement for designated PRTF beds, including an incentive rate in addition to Medicaid daily rate funds, and a separate contracted rate when a bed is vacant.
