Wilcox County Board of Commissioners will receive bids, until the date and time set for the bid opening, at
the Commissioner’s Office 103 North Broad Street. Abbeville GA. 31001. Bids must be submitted in a sealed
envelope containing the following information on the outside, front, lower left corner of the envelope:
SEALED BID: “Wilcox County Fire Department SCBA”. Failure to include such information may result in
the bid opened prematurely and/or declared disqualified.
Fire Department SCBA Vendor Proposal packages may be obtained from Wilcox County Board of
Commissioners Office, 103 North Broad Street, Abbeville GA. 31001 or by calling (229)467-2737.
Proposal will be accepted until 2:00p.m. eastern standard time, Thursday, November 19, 2026 at the Wilcox
County Board of Commissioners Office, 103 North Broad Street, Abbeville GA. 31001.

Whereas, Wilcox County has identified a need to purchase Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (hereinafter
“SCBA”) Wilcox County Fire Department SCBA RFP is submitted for qualified vendors.
Proposal Procedures: Wilcox County Board of Commission Office (WCBOC) will receive bids, until the
date and the time set for the bid opening, at the County Commission office, 103 North Broad Street. Abbeville
GA 31001. Wilcox County will not be liable for the late delivery or receipt due to late delivery by postal
services, express services, traffic, trains, breakdown, or any other reason.
Vendors will furnish all equipment associated with the SCBA, Bottles, and Facepieces as outlined, and provide all training on the correct use and maintenance of the SCBA units. The scope includes twenty (20) 3M Scott X3 Pro (2025 Edition) with CGA Cylinder Connection 4500, EZ Flo hose and Pak Tracker and PASS; twenty (20) AV-3000 HT, 4-strap, Medium with Kevlar Head net; and forty (40) Cylinder and Valve, Carbon, 4.5, 45 min CGA Bottles.
