The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified service providers to for the Provision of an Independent Assessment of Video Surveillance Software and Hardware for the Department of Information Technology Services.

During the period for which a person/firm has been debarred or suspended, or placed on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list, that person/firm shall not submit or cause to be submitted offers, quotes, bids, or proposals, etc. to Gwinnett County, even when automatically or electronically distributed a notification or notified of a solicitation request. Submittals from firms currently on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list will not be considered.
The selected service provider will conduct an independent assessment of the County's existing video surveillance ecosystem, including over 3,100 leased and County-owned cameras, supporting recorders, and network components across approximately 100 locations. The assessment must include an updated inventory of all hardware and software with site maps, identification of unnecessary or underutilized cameras, recommendations for replacement versus removal, identification of coverage gaps, evaluation of current support and maintenance practices, suggested alternatives to existing technology, and a proposed implementation plan with budgetary cost estimates. The assessment is for internal planning and budgeting and is independent of any future purchase or upgrade decisions.
