Sealed, written bids must be received by 2 pm, Tuesday, September 22. Electronic submission will not be
accepted. The school system reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities, and
to accept the bid that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the system.
These bids will be evaluated by the Technology Department of the Lowndes County Schools. The department
will make a recommendation to the superintendent as to which bid best meets the needs of our schools and
which best satisfies the requirements detailed in this packet. While price is an important consideration, it will
not be the sole determining factor in the selection of a solution.
The bidder must supply 165 Dell or HP business class mid tower desktop computers with an Ultra 5 225 (minimum) processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, DVDRW optical, 2 DisplayPorts and 1 HDMI (must support 4k), with Windows 11, keyboard, and mouse. No refurbished products accepted. Also supply 165 monitors (Dell, HP, or Viewsonic) 22-24 inches supporting both HDMI and DisplayPort, capable of 1920x1080 resolution, with cables to connect to the CPU. Desktop computers must include a three-year warranty for parts and labor. Monitors must have a three-year warranty with advanced replacement and free shipping both ways. If bidding a Viewsonic monitor, the vendor must provide a letter of authorization from the manufacturer.
