AND RESTRIPING OF 2 COUNTY ROADS. Sealed proposals for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to successfully accomplish the following work will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Wilkes County, Georgia, 23 Court Street, Washington, Georgia 30673, until 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 8, 2026. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on Thursday, October 8, 2026 @ 10:30 a.m. in the Wilkes County Board of Commissioners Meeting Room 219 in the Courthouse located at 23 Court Street, Washington, Georgia 30673.

Contract Time: All work is to be accomplished within 6 months of the Project Notice-To-Proceed-Date supplied by Wilkes County Successful bidder will strictly adhere to all Georgia DOT Regulations, Current Standards and Specifications, all Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices guidelines, and all requirements included in the Project Agreement between WILKES COUNTY and the successful bidder. WILKES COUNTY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS. The project includes traffic control, 19 mm deep patching, OGI asphalt leveling, 9.5 mm asphalt resurfacing, RPMs, and restriping on Pecan Grove Road (4.9 linear miles) and Goldmine Road (2.9 linear miles) in Wilkes County, Georgia. Work also includes shoulder building, permanent grassing, and installation of traffic control devices. All work must comply with GDOT specifications and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
