Bids must be received by Morgan County on or before the bid opening (bids received after that
time will not be considered), at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
SUBMIT ONE ORIGINAL AND ONE COPY in sealed envelope. Bids may be accepted via mail or
parcel but will not be considered if not received by bid opening.
Contractor may use their own forms for subs, references, or bid tabulation, but all wording herein
will be considered the contract language. All bids must be signed. Unsigned bid forms or bid
proposals will not be considered.
The work includes patching and/or mill/patch/inlay of asphalt roads, with all asphalt required to include hydrated lime. Specific tasks include bituminous patching per GDOT 402 using a 4' milling head, tack coat per GDOT 413, striping and marking per GDOT 652/653, traffic control per GDOT 150, and removal of all trash and debris daily. The contractor is responsible for all layouts, testing (minimum 2 cores per road), and traffic control. Work is to be performed on roads including Buckhead Rd, Crawford, Prospect Rd, Sandy Creek, Whitley Lake Rd, Eugene Ln, Norris Ln, Clack Rd, Carmichael Rd, Riden Road, West Main Street, Nunnally St, and Fifth Street, with quantities specified in the Proposal Bid Tabulation Form.
