All material must be BABA compliant with certification. Detail may be provided with each line item, and in some cases will be required as an explanation to the approach of execution of that particular item. For line items with part number listed, only that part number or direct equal will be accepted. Bids may be submitted in person to the City of Monroe or by mail, but must be received no later than 2:00 pm on November 6, 2026.

Council/Administrator form of government with a mayor elected at large and eight (8) councilmembers, who
are elected by district or super-district. The mayor and members of the Council serve four-year terms, which
are staggered by election.

The work is the supply of electric distribution materials for the South Broad re-conduct, including deadend and suspension clamps, guy wire, anchors and rods, fiberglass and wood crossarms, surge arresters, bolts, brackets, clevises, cutouts, fuses, grips, insulators, transformers, overhead primary wire including 336.4 kcmil ACSR and 1/0 ACSR, poles including wood poles and ductile iron self-support poles, washers, ties, terminations and related hardware, with all material BABA compliant with certification and part numbers or direct equal where listed.
