ADDITION TO EXISTING WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT
FOR THE
CITY OF HEPHZIBAH, GEORGIA
Sealed proposals will be received by CITY OF HEPHZIBAH, GEORGIA at the Hephzibah City
Hall, 2530 Georgia Highway 88, Hephzibah, Georgia 30815 until 2:00 p.m. local time,
Thursday, November 5, 2026 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No
submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period
of sixty (60) days.
All Bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and must employ a state
“Utility Manager” certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the
construction of:

materials, equipment, and performing all labor necessary for constructing the proposed Bar Screen
and structure, Wastewater Treatment System with electrical room and blowers, Chlorine Contact
Chamber, including earth excavation, backfilling, grading, concrete structures, piping, electrical,
mechanical work, painting, grassing, erosion control and all other work and all appurtenances
required.
Time allotted for this construction is 365 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion, and
395 days for final completion.
Proposals for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the proposal form
provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid on.
Furnish all materials, equipment and labor for improvements to the City of Hephzibah Water Pollution Control Plant, including constructing the proposed Bar Screen and structure, Wastewater Treatment System with electrical room and blowers, and Chlorine Contact Chamber, with earth excavation, backfilling, grading, concrete structures, piping, electrical and mechanical work, painting, grassing, erosion control and all other work and appurtenances required under one general contract.
