All potential bidders must be prequalified with GDOT.
The work includes deep base patching, asphalt leveling, OGI leveling, resurfacing, and shoulder building of 13.62 miles of roads: Bembry Road (2.53 miles), Davis Road (2.84 miles), Fourteen Lane Road (2.06 miles), Harmony Church Road (2.25 miles), Mock Springs Road (3.75 miles), and Lenora Drive (0.19 miles). The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the road improvements, including traffic control, grading per mile of shoulders, deep base patching, spot leveling, 12.5 mm Superpave resurfacing, bituminous tack coat, OGI leveling, variable depth milling, pavement striping, raised pavement markers, and permanent grassing. The contractor must also clip shoulders prior to paving and dress shoulders after paving, and will be provided a disposal site for excess soil.
