PROJECT: 2026 GRAYSON ROAD RESURFACING PROGRAM II: CONTRACT # 27-01 – Wilshire,
Windsor Creek & Grayson Parkway (S.R. 84)

Sealed bids will be received by the OWNER for a General Contractor to furnish all materials labor, tools, equipment, and
any other miscellaneous items necessary for paving improvements at Wilshire Subdivision, Windsor Creek
Subdivision & Grayson Parkway (S.R. 84) located in Grayson, Georgia.
PROJECT SCOPE:
This project has two components: (1) road resurfacing in both Wilshire Subdivision & Windsor Creek Subdivision, and
(2) permanent road closure measures along Grayson Parkway (S.R. 84) at Rock Springs Road.
(1) Road Resurfacing in the Wilshire Subdivision: The project consists of edge milling, final coat of asphalt topping,
and striping of crosswalk and stop bars.
A more detailed scope of work items per street is listed below:
WILSHIRE DRIVE FROM THE INTERSECTION AT GRAYSON PARKWAY (S.R. 84) FOR APPROX. 2,038 LF
TO THE END AT CUL-DE-SAC:
• EDGE (4 FT.) MILL THE SURFACE COAT OF ASPHALT (APPROX. 1.5” IN DEPTH) ALONG THE ENTIRE
LENGTH BOTH SIDE OF THE STREET (APPROX 4,076 LF).
• APPLY FINAL 1½” OF ASPHALT SURFACE TOPPING (APPROX. 509 TN)
• STRIPE 1 STOP BAR (APPROX. 12 LF)
• STRIPE NEW CROSSWALK (APPROX. 174 LF)
WILSHIRE COURT FROM THE INTERSECTION AT WILSHIRE DRIVE FOR APPROX. 850 LF TO THE END AT
CUL-DE-SAC:
• EDGE (4 FT.) MILL THE SURFACE COAT OF ASPHALT (APPROX. 1.5” IN DEPTH) ALONG THE ENTIRE
LENGTH BOTH SIDE OF THE STREET (APPROX 1,700 LF).
• APPLY FINAL 1½” OF ASPHALT SURFACE TOPPING (APPROX. 250.5 TN)
• STRIPE 1 STOP BAR (APPROX.
The project has two components: (1) road resurfacing in Wilshire Subdivision and Windsor Creek Subdivision, consisting of edge milling, final coat of asphalt topping, striping of crosswalk and stop bars, and adjusting manholes; and (2) permanent road closure measures along Grayson Parkway (S.R. 84) at Rock Springs Road, consisting of full depth milling of existing roadway apron, removal of ADA sidewalk ramps and curb, installing curb & gutter and sidewalk across old intersection location, installation of a decorative railing and road closure signage, backfilling old roadway apron with fill dirt, and topping with sod.
