The Lee County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed written bids from qualified vendors for a project to include the construction of a Recreation Event Center Building with associated site work, parking, infrastructure and an open-air covered pickleball facility, located at 231 State Route 3, Leesburg, Georgia 31763. Conceptual design plans, contract information, bid form, and other information are enclosed. All work completed shall be per County standards and all local and state adopted codes as applicable.
The project consists of a design-build turnkey Recreation Event Center and covered pickleball complex totaling approximately 52,164 SF. The event center portion will be approximately 17,360 square feet and will also house the future offices of the Lee County Recreation Department. The covered open-air 12 court Pickleball Complex should be connected to the event center and will be approximately 34,804 square feet. The project will include site development including utility extensions, an asphalt drive, and a parking lot. The scope includes civil design, architectural design, structural engineering, MEP, fire protection, code compliance, PEMB fabrication and erection, exterior and interior finishes, pickleball court construction, landscaping, entrance road, parking lot, security alarm, camera system, testing, inspections, and closeout documents.
