Bids must be received by City of Walnut Grove on or before the bid opening (bids received after
that time will not be considered), at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
SUBMIT ONE ORIGINAL AND ONE COPY in sealed envelope. Bids may be accepted via mail or
parcel but will not be considered if not received by bid opening.
Contractor may use their own forms for subs, references, or bid tabulation, but all wording herein
will be considered the contract language. All bids must be signed. Unsigned bid forms or bid
proposals will not be considered.
Bids will only be accepted from contractors prequalified by the Georgia Department of

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
The City of Walnut Grove will accept bids for FY 2027 PATCHING AND REPAIR PROJECT.
The project includes patch only and/or mill/patch/inlay of asphalt roads, with all asphalt required to include hydrated lime. Work includes traffic control per GDOT 150, bituminous patching per GDOT 402, tack coat per GDOT 413, striping and marking per GDOT 652/653, and milling at variable depths. Specific streets to be worked on include Park Street, Church Way, Greenhill Way, Valley Drive, Woodland Circle, and Walnut Court. The contractor must remove all trash and debris daily, perform all required testing including cores, and provide traffic control. The contract is a unit price contract based on the Proposal Bid Tabulation Form items: traffic control (lump sum), recycled asphalt concrete patching (542 tons), recycled asphalt concrete 9.5 mm (51 tons), milling asphalt concrete pavement variable depth (32,868 SY), and speed tables new locations (2 each).
