Section 1 - Instructions to Bidders
The contractor will perform water quality monitoring and sampling activities in compliance with the County's Watershed Protection Plan (WPP), the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District's Water Resource Management Plan (WRMP), and District Standard Methods. Tasks include project management, water quality flow composite monitoring (optional), grab sampling for fecal coliform and E-coli at 14 sites, chemical monitoring, biological/habitat assessment at up to 9 locations, laboratory analysis (optional), and annual report preparation (optional). The contractor must collect samples during wet and dry weather, analyze for parameters such as TSS, phosphorus, nitrogen, metals, and bacteria, and prepare reports including seasonal trend evaluations and annual WPP reports. The contract base term is approximately 12 months, with options to renew for up to three additional years.
