The City of Atlanta, on behalf of Department of Parks and Recreation, will shortly undergo a Multi-Step
Competitive Sealed Bid procurement process comprised of a prequalification phase, followed by an Invitation for
Bid (IFB) toward the procurement qualified P.O.S.T.-certified officers. Services include providing scheduled and
on-call public safety and security services at City parks, facilities, events, and other designated locations. Interested
vendors will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis to determine whether they meet the City's established minimum
qualification requirements. The evaluation will assess each vendors demonstrated experience and past performance
and qualifications and experience of key management and operational personnel providing P.O.S.T Certified
Officers. The City's expectation is that the selected vendors furnish management, supervision, manpower,
equipment, and supplies necessary to provide Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified security
services. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed and held to provide more details and address questions.
Hope to see you there
