The awarded contractor shall provide comprehensive district-wide HVAC Water Treatment services including treatment and monitoring of cooling towers/condenser-water systems, chilled-water closed loops, heating/tempered-water closed loops, and boiler water systems. Services include scale prevention, corrosion control, microbiological growth control, water chemistry management, Legionella prevention and risk-management support, routine water testing, chemical adjustment, connected water-treatment monitoring, and electronic reporting. The contractor must be compatible with the district's existing Walchem water-treatment controllers, chemical feed pumps, and biocide feed systems. The initial contract covers approximately 98 facilities, with 82 having cooling tower/condenser-water treatment requirements, 20 having chilled-water treatment requirements, and 4 having both. DCSD reserves the right to add or remove facilities as needed.
