INTRODUCTION
This is an invitation to bid to supply the City of Tybee Island, Georgia (sometimes hereinafter
referred to as “Owner”) with products or services as indicated herein.
Sealed bids must be received by 2:00pm local time, on Tuesday October 27, 2026. The City
of Tybee Island reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday October 15, 2026 at 10:00am in the Public Safety
Building conference room (78 Van Horne Avenue, Tybee Island). Interested bidders are
encouraged to attend, as they will have the opportunity to discuss specifications and ask
questions.
METHOD OF AWARD: If the City of Tybee Island awards a contract from this ITB, it will be
awarded to the responsible bidder with the lowest responsive bid.
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to remove the existing roof system and flashing, inspect and repair wood decking, install high temperature ice and water shield, install a DaVinci Multi-Width Slate tile system (or approved equal) on the main building, install a standing seam metal panel roof on the porch section, replace gutters and downspouts, perform fascia and soffit repairs including painting, and provide manufacturer and workmanship warranties. The City will obtain all necessary permits.
