SITE VISIT: Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2026 Time: 8:00AM EDT Location: Carl Vison VA Medical Center, 1826 Veterans Blvd, Dublin 31021 (Meet staff at front of the VA Medical Center). QUESTIONS & ANSWERS: Questions about this solicitation will expire on September 30, 2026 at 11:00AM EDT and no questions will be accepted after the expiration date and time.
However, answers to the questions will be provided to the offeror after the expiration date and time.
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for repair of damaged and swelling LVT flooring, including proper subfloor preparation, moisture-barrier application, all aspects of applying new LVT in affected areas, and site cleanup. The contractor shall remove damaged LVT floor planks and associated adhesives, transport and dispose of all waste in compliance with regulations, inspect the underlying concrete subfloor for cracks or uneven surfaces, and complete any subfloor preparation needed for proper adhesion. The contractor shall use the preselected LVT product 'Karndean Korlock Select – Smoked Butternut' (20 mil wear layer, product code RKP8107), apply a moisture barrier, install floor transitions and reducers to eliminate tripping hazards, remove and replace baseboards, and ensure gaps between flooring and door jambs are no larger than 1/8 inch. All work must be completed within 45 days from award.
