NOTICE TO PROPOSERS
The Camden County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals to furnish all labor, equipment,
and materials for conducting road resurfacing/pavement preservation on existing paved roads.
Camden County is accepting two different price proposals to evaluate options for preserving our roads
that best fit the needs of the county.
SUBMISSION: One (1) original and three (3) copies of required proposal document must be submitted in
a sealed envelope marked “LMIG/SAP 2026 ROAD RESURFACING Proposal #P27-4200-07, mailed or
dropped off at the address below.

The proposal opening will be conducted in person on October 15th, 2026, at 2:00PM, in the historic court
room, located at 200 East 4th Street, Woodbine, GA 31569. Proposal prices will not be read.
Proposals will be accepted at the above address until the time and date specified above, and immediately after
will be publicly opened and contractor names only will be read aloud.
Proposals received after the required time or in any other location other than the Purchasing Office will not be
accepted. Camden County will not be held liable for misdirected deliveries nor deliveries that are late due to
shipping carrier. Faxed submissions will not be accepted.
Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for bituminous surface treatment, hot mix overlay, thermoplastic striping, edge line rumble strips and raised pavement markings on approximately 13.2 miles. Work includes a single surface bituminous surface treatment with #89 stone, followed by a 9.5 MM Superpave overlay, patching portions of the roadway, thermoplastic striping (5" white edge lines and 5" yellow centerline and skip lines), temporary paint, and sinusoidal edgeline rumble strips. Removal and replacement scope includes isolated patching with 4" Asphalt Binder, 19 mm Superpave. All work to be done in accordance with GDOT Standard Specifications.
