The original bid and one (1) copy along with supporting documents must be submitted in a sealed clearly marked envelope. At the time and date of the bid deadline, the bids will be publicly opened, and cost components read aloud at the Bulloch County Commissioners North Main Annex, in Conference Room 102 at the above-referenced address. The bids will be reviewed to determine conformity with the specifications and other criteria. Upon closure of the review, the Project Manager will recommend the selection of a bid or bids most advantageous to the County or the rejection of all bids, for which final decision will be approved by the Board of Commissioners.

The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners (herein after referred to as the “County”) is accepting
COMPETITIVE SEALED BIDS for:
Material or Service: Provide labor and materials for the new construction of Bulloch County Fire
Station 17 located at 2770 Highway 119 North, Ellabell, GA 31308 in Bulloch County Georgia.

the subject line. All questions must be received no later than August 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM. All
responses will be posted to the County’s procurement pages no later September 1, 2026, at 4:00
PM.

The project includes construction of a 51' x 72' steel building with a 20-gauge Galvalume standing seam roof, 26-gauge standard color panels, two 14' x 14' roll-up doors, two 3070 standard walk doors with panic devices, and eight egress windows. The foundation consists of an 8" x 23' x 72' monolithic slab for bays and a 4" x 28' x 72' slab for living quarters, with 6 mil poly vapor barrier and rebar. Insulation includes 4" open cell spray foam on walls and 5"-6" on the roof. Interior work includes a UL 301 fire wall, 400-amp electrical service, 22kw Generac generator with automatic transfer switch, and plumbing per plans. Exclusions include low voltage wiring, fire alarm system, signage, parking, appliances, and air compressors.
