Request for Proposal (RFP) for Architectural Services
The District is requesting full architectural services for developing specifications, programming, design, cost estimating, preparation of construction documents, reproduction costs, bidding, bid evaluation, construction administration, periodic inspections by engineers employed by the architect, final inspection, and project acceptance. The renovation includes HVAC (replace cooling tower, upgrade controls to I-VU system), plumbing (replace flush valves, sinks, urinals, toilets, add exhaust fans), electrical (replace lighting throughout, upgrade fire alarm control panel, new 50 kW generator, replace main switch gear), carpentry (redesign secured vestibule, paint entire building interior and exterior, replace flooring and cove base, replace casework, install new sound panels), grounds (repair divots, concrete sidewalk repair, seal coat and stripe parking lot), energy management (upgrade controls to I-VU system), kitchen (replace cooler/freezer, serving line equipment, conveyor dishwasher), and technology (data drops on stage, demo Hoffman boxes). Design must be completed by January 29, 2027, construction must be completed no later than July 21, 2027.
