Description:
The Improvements under this Contract consist of FPID 452943-1-52-01 the resurfacing of SR 2 from Spring Branch to east of
Cowarts Creek Bridge in Jackson County. Existing travel lanes and paved shoulders will be resurfaced. Other improvements
include upgrades to signing & pavement markings.
Resurface existing travel lanes and paved shoulders on SR 2 from Spring Branch to east of Cowarts Creek Bridge, including milling existing asphalt pavement, placing Superpave asphaltic concrete and asphalt concrete friction course, upgrading signing and pavement markings with ground-in rumble strips, ground sign assemblies, raised markers, thermoplastic markings and permanent tape, plus mobilization, maintenance of traffic, clearing and grubbing, litter removal, mowing, and performance turf sod over 4.052 miles of roadway and 0.318 miles of bridge.
