Facilities Management - Outside Contracted Services

The Mesquite Independent School District (Mesquite ISD) seeking proposals for Facilities Management - Outside Contracted Services If you were awarded on RFP 2021-003 you DO NOT need to respond. Your company will be included in the same awarded vendor pool as those responding to this solicitation. If you were not awarded on RFP 2021-003 or are not on a Purchasing Cooperative that MISD is a member of, you will be removed from the awarded vendor pool. If you want to verify the status of your company, you can email kburks@mesquiteisd.org This bid is for Services and includes all Labor, Parts, and Supplies. This is a qualifying bid only. When your company submits this bid to MISD, you are placed on our approved vendor list. When MISD has a job that your company qualifies for, we may contact you for a quote for that job. Details will be provided when quote is requested. All work will be done on an as-needed basis only. All new work is to be guaranteed for at least one year. Multiple contracts will be awarded. Contracted services include, but are not limited to: • Aluminum Ramps & Stairs - Installation/Repairs/Purchase • Appliances - Service/Repairs • Asbestos Abatement • Athletic Field Turf Care • Audio Visual - Systems/Repairs • Auto – Service/Repairs/Windshield • Bleachers/Grandstands -Service/Repairs • Bus - Service/Repairs/Windshield • Canvas and Metal Awning - Service/Repair • Carpentry and Cabinet Making • Concrete/Asphalt • Cooling System/Tower - Monitoring/Repairs/etc. • Doors - Installation • Electrical Services • Elevator Maintenance and/or Repair • Emergency/Restoration • Equipment Repair • Equipment/Machinery Rental • Fencing/Gate Repairs • Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler - Certification, Inspection, Maintenance and/or Repair • Fire Extinguisher Inspection and Maintenance • Fuel Systems Repair and/or Service • Graphic Arts - Wall Murals, etc. • Grease and Sand Trap Pump and Clean • Grounds - Landscape/Maintenance • HVAC And Refrigeration Systems Maintenance and Repair • Irrigation Systems Installation and/or Repair • Laundry Equipment Installation/Service/Repair • Lighting - Installation/Repair • Locksmith - Service/Repairs • Machinery - Service/Repairs • Maintenance • Masonry • Monitoring/Witness Services • Moving Services • Overhead Door - Service/Repair • Painting • Parking Lot Striping/Cleaning • Pest Control • Playground Equipment (includes benches, equipment, etc.) • Plumbing Repair • Power Washing • Roof Repair • Safety and Security - Monitoring/Repairs/etc. • Shelving Purchase/Installation • Sound Systems - Repairs/Service • Stage Curtain Cleaning • Stage Lighting - Service/Repairs • State Inspections • Time Clock - Service/Repairs • Transportation - Maintenance • Tree and Brush Removal • Upholstery • Vehicle Body Repair • Vent-a-Hood Cleaning • Waterproofing Services • Window Cleaning • Wrecker/Towing Services • Any other services not listed above (excluding janitorial services) Contracts shall be in full force and in effect from the date of award through December 31st of each year. Agreements will auto renew December 31st of each year unless re-bid at the discretion of Mesquite ISD with the final renewal expiring on December 31, 2026. The estimated expenditure for this contract is approximately $1,000,000+ per year. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon actual needs and funding. It is not the policy of the Mesquite ISD to award contracts based solely on “low bid/proposal”. Upon an acceptable evaluation, all vendors who have met the provisions of this proposal will be considered for purchases.
