This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for informational and market research purposes. The RFI
is intended to assist the California State University (CSU) in gathering information regarding available
products, services, capabilities, and potential solutions. This RFI is not a solicitation, does not constitute an

Purpose
The California State University (CSU) is seeking information from qualified vendors regarding Artificial
Intelligence (AI) solutions that support Clery Act compliance, campus safety reporting, incident

The purpose of this RFI is to gather information regarding available AI-enabled solutions that may assist
CSU campuses in meeting federal Clery Act requirements while maintaining compliance with CSU security,
privacy, accessibility, and records management requirements. This RFI is for information-gathering purposes

Most California work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
