The contractor will provide psychiatric nursing services at Denver Women's Correctional Facility (DWCF) and Centennial Correctional Facility (CCF). At DWCF, a team of five psychiatric nurses (4 full-time, 1 part-time) will provide seven-day-a-week care, with 2 full-time RNs dedicated to a 65-bed Therapeutic Community unit, 2 full-time RNs dedicated to a 48-bed Residential Treatment Program unit, and 1 part-time RN for midweek relief. At CCF, a team of three psychiatric nurses (2 full-time, 1 part-time) will provide dedicated coverage for a 16-bed Substance-Induced Psychosis unit. Core responsibilities include medication administration, compliance monitoring, patient education on comorbidities, clinical therapy (group and individual sessions), collaboration in multi-disciplinary meetings, and urine analysis testing. Nurses may also be asked to support other CDOC facilities.
